Clavister CM-POE86 - Interface Expansion Module
8 x 1 GbE RJ45 w/PoE support, 48VDC PSU included
The NetWall 6000 Series has two expansion slots, each of which can accept an interface expansion module. There are a number different module options available and these are purchased separately to the NetWall 6000 Series unit. Each of the module types provides different connection capabilities and can be one of the following:
- 8 x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
- 8 x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces with PoE.
- 8 x SFP Gigabit interfaces.
- 4 x SFP+ 10 Gigabit interfaces.
- 4 x SFP+ 10 Gigabit interfaces with QAT. (The QAT feature will be automatically used by cOS Core for IPsec acceleration.)
- 2 x QSFP+ 40 Gigabit interfaces.
CM-POE86 supports 802.3af/at PoE and is supplied with a dedicated PSU. Connections can be a mix of 15 Watts (802.3af) and the maximum of 30 Watts (802.3at Type 2).
The total loading across all Ethernet ports should never exceed 120 Watts and a maximum load distribution across the ports should ideally follow one of the patterns shown in the table below.
