Analyze and Optimize

With the Milesight Field Tester you can quickly analyze your network in real time to;

• Understand how each gateway performs, the area they cover and the quality of signal provided.
• Analyze the impact of physical obstructions and terrain and find the ideal location for your sensors.
• Quickly assess if more gateways are needed to improve the coverage for your operations.

In addition, it is easy to configure different LoRaWAN settings such as frequency bands, channel, spreading factor, ADR and TX power to identify the ideal signal configuration at a specific location.

Geolocation, Log and export

In addidion to providing real-time data, The FT101 supports GPS, enabling you do log measured values for specific locations and later export your logs as a CSV for comprehensive analysis. The log will contain the following information;

• Spreading Factor
• TX power
• Longitude and Latitude
• Location Name

Configure sensors

The FT101 in many ways function as a smart phone. It is based on an Android platform, allowing you to install the Milesight ToolBox app directly to the device. Now you can configure Milesight sensors via NFC easily.

Battery operation

FT101 features a 4300mAh integrated battery, allowing for up to 8 hours of continouos operation and up to 7 days of standby. For extended operational times, connect a battery bank directy using the USB-C port.
